Chris Stills

100 YEAR THING is his debut album produced by Ethan Jones for Atlantic Records. This is an infectious collection of folksy rock songs with a hint of triphop.

"Human character," says Stills, "never takes less than 100 years to change." His sweetly cracked vocals are very reminiscent of his father Steven, but his original songs are fresh and more haunting. "I'm not a grounded guy," the 22 year old California- raised and Paris-educated Stills says. "I've been a traveller my whole life, flying back and forth between two very different worlds. I spent a lot of time looking at America, and when you step out of something and you turn around and look at it, then you can see it for what it really is."
